It is a flat annular component integrally stamped from whole low-carbon steel sheet. Its inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness strictly comply with national standards GB/T 95 (Grade C) or GB/T 97.1 (Grade A). Grade A washers feature smooth edges, while chamfered type (GB/T 97.2) comes with outer circle chamfer to prevent scratching paint and profiles of structural parts.

This flat washer is exclusively matched with Grade 4.8 fasteners for light-load enclosure and secondary steel structure joints such as roof purlins, wall beams, guardrails and light supports. It distributes tightening pressure and protects base metal plates. Special high-strength flat washers of corresponding grade shall be adopted for main load-bearing high-strength joints, and galvanized or Dacromet anti-corrosion washers are selected for corrosive areas.

Notes:

Made of Q235 low carbon steel with hardness of 200HV, this product is only compatible with Grade 4.8 bolts and Grade 4 nuts. It shall not be used for Grade 8.8, 10.9 or 12.9 high-strength bolt assemblies. High-hardness thickened special flat washers must be replaced for high-strength fastening to avoid deformation and failure under compression.Custom outer diameters are available upon request.
