Product Detail

High-strength spring lock washers are integrally slotted and stamped from spring steel strips. 65Mn steel is adopted for Grade 8.8 matching models, while 60Si2MnA alloy spring steel with quenching & tempering heat treatment is used for heavy-duty types matching Grade 10.9 and 12.9 fasteners. Surface anti-corrosion treatments include black oxide, electro-galvanizing and Dacromet coating. They are assembled as a set with bolts, high-strength flat washers and nuts of corresponding strength grades, relying on the rebound force of the slit to realize anti-loosening locking effect.
Application: Standard spring lock washers for Grade 8.8 are used in medium-sized equipment, main photovoltaic supports and mechanical assemblies with slight vibration. Heavy-duty spring washers for Grade 10.9 & 12.9 are suitable for working conditions requiring high pre-tightening force, such as heavy-load equipment, high-impact construction machinery and high-power units. Spring lock washers are forbidden for friction-type main steel structures in construction projects, and shall only be applied to bolted connections of mechanical equipment.
Notes:
1. Standard washers conforming to GB/T 93 shall be matched with Grade 8.8 fasteners; heavy-duty washers conforming to GB/T 7244 shall be matched with Grade 10.9 & 12.9 fasteners. Spring lock washers are strictly prohibited for friction-type main building steel structures.
2. Assemble in sequence: base material → high-strength flat washer → spring lock washer → nut, and fasten with calibrated torque wrench in standard operation.
3. High-temperature hydrogen removal treatment is mandatory for Grade 10.9 / 12.9 washers after galvanizing; Dacromet coating is preferred for corrosive environments.
4. Discard any deformed, cracked or rusted washers; reused high-strength spring washers after disassembly are not allowed.
5. Only applicable to mechanical equipment assembly. Additional anti-loosening measures are required for positions with severe impact or high-pressure sealing. Store washers in dry and sealed warehouses.
